I love birds and birds are my most favourite subjects. But birds are many and among those Flamingoes stole my heart the very first time I saw them at Busch Gardens, Tampa, Florida. Those were florescent orange in color.
These are Flamingoes in their wild habitat in Namibia.
Flamingoes I feel represent the spirit of how i feel when I am happy. That particular red flamingo at focal point is probably me, who for a long time worried about being red and different without even knowing what that actually meant until she looked at herself and witnessed her redness in the mirror. She saw beauty and embraced herself and then she blended in well with the rest because now she could be joyous for her own self.
